​

Podu = put. In Tamil; a versatile word that works like magic. Line Podu = Put a line. Put something. Your cat picture. Your brand logo. Your best friend’s meme. Your break up date. Anything. Just podu.

Who’s behind Line Podu?

 

Startup madness (minus the chaos), backed by a tight crew of creative rebels across India. Ram runs the ship, for now. Oh, btw — the guy making your tee is an ex advertising creative professional. He got bored of 20-people Zoom calls and meaningless intellectual masturbation in brand meetings and picked ink over PowerPoint. Cool, right? Designs, prints, calls, complaints — all roads lead to him, for now. Real people. And no freakin’ bots.

​Customisation

​

Can I print my own design?

​

Yup. Send us your idea, we’ll podu it. You get your design. We bring the tee. Polo. Hoodie. Or whatever suits your fancy. Choose a product. Pay. Then whatsapp us your design. We send a mockup and then we print and ship. Please read up on your customisation process.

Is there a minimum order for custom prints?

​

Yes. Based on our processes, we need an order of a minimum of three pieces from the site, to adhere to our service standards and promises. Any three. Maybe a t-shirt, a croptop and a hoodie. Just 3 pieces.

​

I just want to order only one. What do I do?

​

Well, we have your back. But the only thing is you have to contact us and be prepared to wait for a week. Then we can certainly hash up something for you. We don’t want to enforce conditions, but we have our work processes as well. Thanks for understanding.

​What format should I send the files in?

​

PNG Transparent. Or an SVG. No, jpgs don't work. No, if you have a free subscription on Canva, you can't get a PNG transparent file. If your design involves just text, may be we can help you. Or if you're ordering more than 7-8 t-shirts. Just maybe, if you're nice to us. Ping us?

 

​Can I get a mockup done?

​

​Yes, we do send you mockups. So that we are on the same page as regards size and placement of prints. Please do read up here on how the ordering process works.

Do you help with design tweaks or placement?

​

We’re creative people, so we’ll nudge you if something looks off. Basic resizing, alignment – we got you. But you want Picasso-level art? We still got you, but it's a custom custom... so the prices displayed on the site don't apply. You have to ping us. Please understand that design costs money. Just like any other service. ​

 

How long does a custom order take?

​

We ship within 36 hours. But it’s a big order or the design is messy af, give us a little breathing room. You’ll get updates. We won’t ghost you.

​Fabric & Quality

​

What fabric do you use?

​

100% cotton. Pre-shrunk. Bio-washed. Fine Combed. Soft enough to nap in. Tough enough to survive laundry-day chaos. Fabric varies from product to product - do check individual products for the specs. But good stuff. We can't afford to mess with quality coz we are from the big bad world of brands and advertising. And we know the pains to build one.

Will the fabric shrink or fade?

​

A tiny 3% shrinkage happens with cotton. Considering that the fabric we use is pre-shrunk, you might experience next to nil shrinkage. Our colours don’t bleed - unless you wash it in acid or use bleaching agents.

​

Where are the t-shirts and other merch made?

​

Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu. The Mecca of tees. Patterned, designed, stitched and tested by folks who’ve been doing this since you were in school.

​

Are your tees eco-friendly?

​

As eco as it gets for cotton and print-on-demand.  Having said that, there's something on the crucible. Hawt merch made from fabric waste and recycled pet bottles. 100% earth-friendly. Minus the hyped up prices. Click here if you fancy that. But rn, no plastisol prints. No bulk waste. And we make it only when you ask. Mother Earth approves.

​Fit & Finish

​What is a “smart fit”?

​

Not baggy. Not gym-rat tight. We designed this for actual humans, not mannequins. Wear it anywhere — work, pub, protest.

 

Do you have a size chart?

​

Of course. Check it on every product page. One of the pics in the gallery is a size chart. Still confused? Ping us. We’ll sort it with you like you’re fam.

​

Do the tees run true to size?

Yes, but hey — body types vary. If you're between sizes, size up for chill, size down for flex.

​

​Printing Quality

​

​What kind of printing do you use?

​

DTF Transfers (Direct to Film) with water-based pigment inks. No thick patches. No vinyl peeling. Just smooth prints that last longer than screen prints. Let’s say 60-70+ washes; even though our internal literature says 100+ washes. Under promise, over deliver is our style.

​

​Will the print crack or peel?

​

Not unless you beat it up with hot water and harsh detergents and iron on the prints. Treat it right and it’ll outlive most of your fast fashion. The average life span is upto 60 washes;  by the way our wardrobes are nowadays, you can enjoy a cool 12 - 18 months durability for the prints.

​

Are your inks safe and sustainable?

​

Yes sir. No toxic plastisol. No weird smells. No guilt. Just fresh drip with a conscience.

​

​Orders & Delivery

 

How long will it take to get my order?

​

We print in 48 hours and ship immediately. Delivery varies by location – usually 4 to 7 working days pan-India, post shipping.  Emergency? Call us. We hustle harder. But we aren't fans of quick commerce btw. We think it screws up our lifestyle, as a species.

​Which shipping partner do you use?

​

Speed Post. Unbeatable reach, solid track record. They deliver where others say “pin code not serviceable.” Plus we pass on their shipping economy to you.

​

Can I track my package?

​

Absolutely. You’ll get the tracking link as soon as it’s shipped. We don't do the “Your order has been shipped 😅” and vanish thing.

​Do you ship pan-India?

​

From Kanyakumari to Kargil. We podu everywhere. If there's a pin code, we’ll find it. Please do check our Shipping policy.

​Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

​

​Can I change my mind and cancel after ordering and paying up?

​

Yes. As long we haven’t done the mockup and you haven’t okayed it. Once that process is done, you can’t cancel the order. However, we have a slightly more empathetic approach – so you can call +919884943105 to check up. We take cancellation and refund decisions on a case-to-case basis. As a policy, we don't allow cancellations; especially post the mock up stage.

Do you have returns, refunds and exchanges?

​​

We’re a small outfit crafting custom-printed pieces (not a mass factory) just for you — one print, one podu at a time. So we just ask for mutual trust and here's the deal. Custom means personal — and we hope you love what we make for you. We do have check points at all stages of the production cycle - so it's very rare that you will come to that eventuality. And since every product is printed on demand based on your design and size choice, we DON'T ACCEPT RETURNS OR REFUND REQUESTS, as a policy.

However, If there's a printing error, damaged item, or wrong size sent (yep, rare but possible), don’t worry — we’ve got your back. No drama. Just fairness. Just reach out within 3 days of receiving your order with photos.

​We’ll either:

• Reprint and send it again, or

• Offer a full/partial refund based on the issue

 

​We do not have a pick-up arrangement with any shipping partner.
